How we approach the work
Extension and loft projects need more than good workmanship: they need sequencing. We start with the available drawings and approvals, confirm access and structural requirements, plan demolition and temporary works, coordinate the shell and structural stage, then move through first-fix services, plastering and final finishes. Where planning permission, Building Regulations approval, structural calculations or party-wall matters apply, these should be resolved through the appropriate professionals and authorities before or during the relevant stage.
KTCS is useful where a client wants one contractor to coordinate both the construction and the finish. Rather than stopping at the structural shell, we can include plastering, flooring, bathrooms, decorating and associated works within the agreed package.
