Plumbing & Electrical
KTCS coordinates plumbing and electrical works as part of renovation, extension, bathroom and refurbishment projects. The objective is to integrate first-fix and second-fix services into the construction programme so walls, floors and finishes are not repeatedly opened and repaired.
What we can include
- Plumbing first and second fix
- Pipework alterations and fixture connections
- Bathroom and kitchen plumbing
- Radiator moves/replacements where included
- Leak repairs within agreed scope
- Electrical first and second fix
- Sockets, switches and lighting changes
- Consumer-unit/fuse-board work where undertaken by the appropriate registered electrician
- Bathroom electrical work and extraction
- Testing, certification and notification where legally required and within the appointed contractor's scope
How we approach the work
Service routes should be agreed before walls and ceilings are closed. Regulated or notifiable work is carried out, inspected, certified or notified through the correct competent person/building-control route. We do not imply that KTCS itself holds a specific electrical or gas registration unless the named legal entity actually does — this page positions KTCS as coordinator of qualified, registered trades within wider building work.
